Welcome to the Region 10 (WA, OR) cohort of the Core Growth: Building Utility Leaders of the Future program. Core Consulting Group is very excited to have you in our upcoming emerging leaders’ class. February Workshop Details and Hotel Recommendations

The first workshop workshop 2/11/20 – 2/12/20 will be hosted by Water Environmental Services.

Day 1 Tour and Executive Speaker – Tri-City Water Reclamation Facility, 15941 Agnes Ave. Oregon City, OR 97045.

Day 2 Workshop – Clackamas County Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, OR 97045, 3rd Floor, Rm 369A. Public/visitor parking is available off the street in front of the building.

April Workshop Details and Hotel Recommendations

The third workshop 4/14/20-4/15/20 will be hosted by Seattle Public Utilities.

Day 1 Tour and Executive Speaker – North Transfer Station, 1350 N 34th St, Seattle, WA 98103 in the Ray Hoffman Conference Room. There is limited parking at North Transfer Station, but nearby street parking is available.

Day 2 Workshop – Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98124. We will be meeting on the 40th floor. Paid public parking is available in the building and at several lots nearby.

Parking downtown is limited and expensive. If flying, consider taking the light rail to downtown and using a rideshare or public transit instead of a rental car.

Region 10 Schedule

The Region 10 schedule includes all program dates between now and June 2020.

We will be sending you calendar appointments for all tours, workshops and webinars outlined in the schedule. Your mentor will also receive a calendar appointment for their orientation webinar. The appointments will include pertinent details such as location, parking and building access.

Core Consulting will print the number of classroom learning hours on your graduation certificate. If you have a need for more details documentation regarding CEU’s, please contact Michelle Easton (michelle.easton@contact-core.com) by December 16 and let her know your requirements.

Each participant will be asked to complete three online assessments as pre-work for the first workshop. Specific information will be sent via email from Michelle Easton.

Each emerging leader can expect to commit approximately 12 hours per month (not inclusive of travel time).
On average, company mentors will devote 1-2 hours per month to the program. This time will be spent coaching and mentoring the emerging leaders. The mentor will also be asked to complete a brief online program assessment to help measure progress and results.
All mentors are expected to attend a webinar orientation in January. This webinar will cover the role of the mentor in more detail and inform the mentor about what the emerging leaders will be going through over the course of the six-month program.
